About the performances:
‘NOI SIAMO CAOS‘Noi siamo Caos represents the second stage of the trilogy “Dei tempi che furono … dei tempi che saranno”, following LA NONA. Quel che resta di noi e della terra.Through an abstract yet deeply evocative language, Noi siamo Caos reflects on the major crises that shape our present: wars, climate change, gender-based violence, inequalities, and the loss of stable points of reference.
These issues shake our consciences and emerge in the choreography not only with dramatic intensity, but also through a subtle veil of irony, as if dance could offer another perspective, a glimpse of meaning or hope.

‘ARIANNA E IL MINOTAURO’A production born from a close examination of the mythological figure of the Minotaur, inspired by Friedrich Dürrenmatt’s story The Minotaur.
In a society that creates monsters and then seeks to exorcise them, the Minotaur represents the one who does not conform to the norm. His appearance — half bull, half man — symbolizes an image that humanity finds unacceptable, evoking the idea of the beast that is always lurking within us.
The labyrinth, by its very shape — an enormous reproduction of the brain — becomes a ritual path leading deep into the darkest mechanisms of the mind.
Theseus, the Minotaur’s antagonist, blessed by the gods and associated with light and solar energy, possesses the power to conquer everything that threatens the continuity of the species.
Ariadne represents the element of mediation with her monstrous brother. Once she discovers the Minotaur’s world, she becomes profoundly fascinated by it.
Il Minotauro, Arianna e il labirinto also seeks to encourage us to reconsider our relationship with the diversity that exists within the society in which we live.

‘IN THE SHADOWS OF DARKNESS’ “Moments of silence reveal a secret way to self-destruction, in an emotional sense. The body disintegrates, and hides in the shadows of the unknown”
This solo dance piece is a personal journal based on my trip, revisiting my homeland, South Africa, to reconnect with my roots, my family, my people, my birthplace – after many years. The piece addresses ‘eye-opening’ experiences that I encountered, being confronted with and challenged by the situation, thus emotional feelings and questions arose. On a universal scope it addresses the situation that we currently live in – with war, violence, corruption, deception, inhumanity, uncertainty, etc – being the ‘norm’ of our existence.
“Awake we fall! Awake we can hold up! It is but a voice that calls upon a transformation of the mind, as the body takes it’s own course. It is but an awakening experience.”
This piece forms the 6th part of an ongoing collaborative multidisciplinary crossover project entitled, ‘THE WALKING THROUGH: A Journey … A Recollection … A Memory … The Meeting’
– Concept, Choreography & Performance: Tebby W.T. RAMASIKE- Music: Black Sun Productions, Lena Circus with Hiroko Komiya, Hiroko Komiya & Atsushi Takenouchi- Duration: 30 min- Production: TeBogO Dance – TBO

‘STILL HERE…’This solo talks about the influences of the past in daily life. Focused on the birth of Simone’s life. Everybody has body memories. Do you push them away or can you deal with them? This solo reflects memories and the power of the inner and the body to continue living.
To become who you are.
In her solo Simone shows the body as an instrument to express memories and vulnerability. In a raw and unique way and how the body helps to process emotions and feelings through dance. The body is stronger than we think. Dance and art are a way of life for Simone.
All is still here…
